I looked at the calendar this morning, and realized that today is the 1st of December. How can this be? Time certainly does fly when you're home with 2 kids.
This month will be full of exciting events for the girls. Of course, this is Sydney's first Christmas, which makes it extra special. Ava does not really know what's going on, but is starting to get excited anyway. She's been singing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Jingle Bells for months already (thanks Daddy!) and thinks the lights and decorations are just great. It will be fun to see her reaction to things this year.
I've been trying to come up with great toy ideas for Santa Clause, which is not easy when our kids have everything already. This morning, Ava spent about an hour just pushing around a Pink Pearl eraser she found in her craft box. I guess we don't have to go "all out" this year!
