Okay, now I know that I am officially a "mom". I am going to brag about Ava's potty training progress (everyone, roll your eyes right now!). Last week, our little girl asked to wear "big girl pants". She's been working very hard since last week, and has stayed "dry" for a few days now. At playgroup today, I overheard Ava telling her little friend Anna that "you can pee in the potty too and then you can get stickers and go to Tim Horton's"! So, Ava's planting the seeds of independence in her friends' heads too. Way to go!
The baby-girl (Sydney, whom I don't talk about nearly enough) is working hard on her crawling skills so that she can keep up with her big sister. Yesterday, she just about pulled herself up into a seated position in her crib so she could get a better look at what was going on.
My babies are growing up too fast!
