Ahhh. It's the middle of the day. This is my favourite time of day around here (aside from when James gets home, of course). Our two princesses are in bed. I have a mountain of chores that I could be doing right now, but I choose to ignore housework today. Today, I am "blogging"!
This morning I played hide-and-seek with Ava in our backyard. Our yard does not have many hiding places, so the game is a bit repetitive, but this was my feeble attempt at exercising Ava in fresh air to get her to nap this afternoon. Incidentally, it worked! Back to hide-and-seek...Ava took her turn hiding, and then didn't come back. Well, she did come back, but with a surprise for Mom. Yep. She is still treating the back of our yard as her "zen out-house". Our game was cut short, and it was back inside for a new diaper. Next time she yells "ready or not, here I come", I will run the other way!
