Yep.
Sydney finally said "mama". I am over the moon! She's been using "dada" for a while now, but there has been no word, until now, for me. This is a very exciting and heartwarming event for a hard-working mom. Yeh!
Ava's recent accomplishment (for this week anyway) is to ride her tricycle all the way around the block...alone! She gets those little legs pumping, and away she goes. She loves the rush of wind in her hair as she "flies" down the sidewalk laughing and screaming all the way. Her steering could use some work, as she occasionally gets distracted by rocks, doggie "do" on the sidewalk and recycling bins. She's got the idea though, and now there's no stopping her.
Our little girls are growing up!
